Introduction:
This is one of very famous recipe in south India. You can easily get on street not only in south India but also in Mumbai too. This is basically made from chana dal which is high in proteins and adding other ingredients like onion , curry leaves , green chilies and small inch of ginger with asafoetida .This is mostly eat at breakfast or sometimes at snacks too.
Take a bowl add 1 cup chana dal and add 2 glass of water .let that soaked in water overnight
Ingredients
• 2-3 chopped green chilies
• ½ inch ginger finely chopped
• ½ table spoon cumin seeds
• few chopped curry leaves
• 1 chopped onion
• 2 salt as per taste
Method for preparation
• First grind the soaked chana dal into grinder with very little water.that should be thick paste.
• Then mix all the above ingredients into it properly.
• Then take a kadai placed on a gas and add oil as per required for deep fry Vada. Once oil became
hot then take a paste of Vada and give shape as per your choice and leave them in oil for deep
fry. like that fry all the dal Vada's.
This is served with sambar which is good combination
