Introduction:
This is one of traditional sweet recipe in manglore.this is typically made from using raw rice , coconut ,
jaggery , little fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds. this can also prepared at breakfast or evening snacks
too.
It is not only gave good aroma but also very tasty for eating. it is a very healthy recipe.
Ingredients
• 1 small cup white rice
• 3 table spoon of black split
• 2 table spoon of cumin seeds
• 1 table spoon of fenugreek seeds
• 1 cup grated coconut
• ½ cup jaggery
• Salt as per taste
Method for preparation
• first take a bowl and add white rice and black split lentil , fenugreek seeds and add
1 bottle water and leave it for 4-5 hrs. once it is properly soaked then grind it with grated
coconut , jaggery and 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds and grind them into fine thick paste and
salt as per taste
• Then leave it overnight. In the morning placed a Appa tawa on a gas on medium flame so that
tawa gets hot and add sesame oil in the pan then add paste into it one by one Once it got
cook then placed on the other side then leave it for a minute once it is ready then took out
all the apps repeat the same procedure
