Sardines fish curry ~ cookhomey

Sardines fish curry

 First properly washed fish  and  add 1 table spoon of turmeric powder with salt kept it aside for   marination about 15 minutes


Ingredients

       

• 250 gm medium sized sardines fish

• 2-3 green chilies

• 1 table spoon coriander seeds

• ½ table poon mustard seeds

• 2-3 crushed garlic and 2-3 garlic cloved for masala

• 7 bedige chilli

• small piece of ginger

• 2 chopped onion

• pinch of turmeric powder

• 1/2 table spoon of fenugreek seeds

• medium piece of tamarind pulp

• small cup grated coconut

 





            


Fish masala preparation:


• Take a small pan and placed on gas with low flame.add mustared seeds , coriander seeds ,

         fenugreek seeds  and cumin seeds, sauté it for a minute .when they started to fluttering then take

         out ,in the same pan add bedige chilies for 5 minute. After take out kept aside.

• Now put all the masala together mustard seeds , cumin seeds , coriander seeds , grated

         coconut , tamarind pulp , ginger , garlic cloves , turmeric powder , bedige chilies and chopped

         onion add them into mixture jar and add waters into it .grind them into fine paste masala. Kept it

         aside



Method for preparation


• Take a Kadai placed  a gas add some oil then add 3-4 crushed garlic cloves once it become red

• Then add chopped onions fry till it became slight brown then add some curry leaves it will give 

  nice aroma then add masala till fry become golden brown.

• Then add fish after adding fish once start boiling then add sliced green chilies with some 

   onion and crushed ginger it will give nice aroma with taste.
