Konkan chicken curry

 Ingredients


  

• 500 gm chicken

        • 1/2 grated coconut

• 3 medium size chopped onion

        • 12 garlic cloves

• 1 medium size chopped ginger

• 3 table spoon of fennel seeds

        • 2 table spoon of peppercorns

• 1 small nutmeg , 1 star anise, 1 small cinnamon stick 

        • 2-3 green cardamom , 2 black cardamom , 2-3 cloves , 2 bay leaves

• Oil as per requirement

• 1 table spoon of turmeric powder

        • 2 table spoon of red chilli powder

• Salt as per taste

        





                                            


Method for preparation


  

• First take a pan and placed on a gas with low flame .once it became hot add

          2-3 table spoon of oil into it and once it became medium hot then add garlic

  and ginger.

        • Sauté them for 5 minute till it leaves nice aroma then add half onion into it

  fry till it became light brown then add all the whole garam masala which is mentioned above.

• Sauté them till it laves nice aroma then add grated coconut into it.

        • Sauté them till coconut became light brown. Then switch of flame .take it aside and 

           let them cook

• Then grind them into fine paste .

• Then place a kadai on gas and add 3 table spoon into it.once it became medium hot then

            add remaining chopped onion into it.Fry till then became light brown then add chicken into it.

        • Let them cook for 5-10 minute then add turmeric powder and red chilli powder into it.

           let them mix properly

• Leave them for 5 minute. Then add fine masala into it.add water as per your choice how

         much curry you required

        • Then let them cook for 10 minute. Here Konkani chicken curry is ready.
